Studio etiquette & safety

The Zen Den is an intimate and communal environment that functions best when everyone honours each other and the space.

It is advised to refrain from eating 1 to 2 hours before practice or eat very light as yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water for hydration.

No shoes are permitted beyond the reception.

Please leave mobile phones on silent & in the boxes provided by the studio. Make ‘being on time’ part of your practice. Be respectful to  the instructor and other attendees by arriving 5 or 10 minutes before class, also for your own safety (the warm-up is an important aspect of each class) so please be aware that if you are more than 5 minutes late for a class, you may not be able to attend. Make sure your teacher is aware of any pre-existing condition or injury that might affect your practice. Honour your body and practice within your body’s limitations.

Persons/members are required to use a suitable towel for the purpose of covering their yoga mat for all Hot Yoga and Warm Flow Yoga classes in the studio.

In the event of a fire, persons/members are asked to make their way to the nearest available exit.
